Healey, candidate for governor, proposes malpractice overhaul
(Boston - AP) - Lieutenant Governor Kerry Healey is proposing an overhaul of the state’s medical malpractice laws. Healey says malpractice insurance rates are driving doctors out of business or prompting them to practice what she calls defensive medicine.
