WASHINGTON, May 9 (UPI) – The U.S. Senate has once again rebuffed a Republican effort to limit jury awards in medical malpractice cases. The issue was a high priority for both President George W. Bush and Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., this year, The New York Times reported.
