Malpractice Suit Planned In Birth
In December 2004, former inmate Kimberly Grey filed a federal lawsuit against PHS, the jail’s former medical director and the sheriff. Grey gave birth over a jail toilet in March 2004 after complaining for hours that she felt ill. Her infant son died en route to a hospital.
