U.S. doctors consider calling it quits
PLAINSBORO, N.J. | Burdened with increasing liability rates, a rising fear of being sued for malpractice, a growing workload as their compensation erodes and a general sense that their autonomy is being undermined by medical system overseers, many U.S. physicians are so disenchanted with their careers that the American health-care system could collapse, a new survey warns.
