Convert barangays into economic units — Nene
Senate Minority Leader Aquilino “Nene” Q. Pimentel Jr. (PDP-Laban) yesterday batted for the conversion of about 43,000 barangays all over the country into economic units of the government to put an end to the malpractice of higher public officials of using them for partisan politics.
