Dr Jayant Patel refuses to defend himself
THE Indian-trained American surgeon at the centre of Queensland’s Dr Patel scandal has snubbed another official inquiry, rejecting an offer from former appeals court judge Geoff Davies to hear his defence of the alleged malpractice that has been linked to at least 13 deaths.
